LG Launches Smart Monitors with 4K Displays, webOS23 in India , Urdu Wirsa

LG Electronics India has launched two new smart monitors — the 27SR75U and 32SR75U — aimed at professionals and entertainment users. Both models come with 4K UHD resolution and run on LG’s webOS23 platform.

The 27-inch 27SR75U features an IPS panel with 350 nits of brightness, while the 32-inch 32SR75U uses a VA panel with 250 nits brightness, offering deeper contrast. According to LG, the former is targeted at creative professionals and the latter at entertainment-first users.

The company says the monitors support 90% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and HDR10, providing color accuracy and vibrancy. Both variants offer USB Type-C connectivity with 65W charging, dual HDMI ports, built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and feature ScreenShare, AirPlay2, and LG’s Magic Remote with ThinQ voice assistant.

The monitors are positioned as all-in-one hubs for both productivity and streaming. LG claims users can access 100+ free channels via LG Channels and use apps for fitness, sports, music, and cloud gaming directly from the monitor, without a PC.

The 27SR75U is priced starting at ₹32,000 and the 32SR75U at ₹38,000. Both models are available on Amazon and LG’s official website.

The launch comes as LG prepares for a potential IPO, with a draft red herring prospectus already filed with SEBI in December 2024.
