While the GT 7 will feature the upcoming Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset and debut within the first half of this year, the GT 8 Pro will come equipped with the next-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SoC and break cover by the end of this year.
The GT 7 is designed to rival the likes of the Redmi K80 Ultra and iQOO Neo 10S Pro, which are expected to feature the same D9400+. On the other hand, the GT 8 Pro is expected to take on the likes of the Redmi K90 Pro, iQOO 15 series, and OnePlus 14, which are expected to debut in China by the end of 2025.

- It will be the first phone to launch with a 7,000mAh+ single-cell battery and 100W charging combination, promising longer battery life.
