POCO India Head reveals on X (formerly Twitter) that if the POCO F7 series makes its way to the Indian markets, it will have larger capacities than its global counterpart. For those unaware, the global and Indian variants of the POCO X7 Pro 5G came with 6,000mAh and 6,550mAh batteries.
Whenever we launch something in India we prefer higher battery. The classic case of X7 Pro of Global had a 6000mAH battery but we launched with a 6500mAh battery which was first in the segment.

He also responded to another query, which asked whether the vanilla POCO F7 might pack a 7,500mAh battery. To recall, he recently asked his followers on X (formerly Twitter) whether the brand should bring the upcoming flagship POCO smartphones to India.

The majority of the followers who responded to the tweet were interested in the Indian launch of the flagship smartphones. The post hints that POCO might launch one of the POCO F7 series smartphones in India after its global launch.
However, the POCO India official is yet to reveal any conclusive information on the launch. It’s also worth noting that POCO only launched the POCO F6 5G in India last year, while the POCO F6 Pro never made it to the Indian market. The POCO F7 Pro and POCO F7 Ultra will sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphones will pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipsets, respectively. The vanilla model will flaunt a 50MP + 8MP rear camera and a 20MP selfie camera.
The global variant of the POCO F7 Pro will house a 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired charging support. In contrast, the Pro variant is said to sport a 50MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto camera, a 32MP ultrawide shooter, and another 32MP front-facing camera. It will be backed by a 5,300 mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging tech.
