This year, we achieved over 100% growth in sales of our Gaming OC and Windforce GPUs compared to the previous year. Our success is driven by delivering superior GPU computing frequencies and advanced product features, solidifying our position as the #1 VGA brand in India. Introducing our UD series power supplies has further strengthened this achievement by ensuring reliable and stable power delivery, enabling optimal GPU performance. Indian customers particularly favour our gaming-focused series, which underscores our commitment to delivering superior performance and innovative solutions.

Can you touch upon the different products GIGABYTE sells in the Indian market?

We have a very diverse product portfolio in India, including, but not limited to, motherboards, graphic cards, laptops, power supplies, and monitors. We recently expanded into premium OLED monitors, which deliver some of the most stunning visuals and exceptional performance, catering to customers seeking cutting-edge solutions. 

This year, we launched a series of wide-format displays with sleek designs to meet the growing demand for aesthetics and functionality. With laptops now a part of our offerings, we continue to innovate, focusing on AI-enhanced performance and reliable components. This comprehensive range reflects our commitment to combining beauty and technology for Indian consumers.

Does GIGABYTE have any plans to open offline stores in India to sell their products? What other things are you doing to expand GIGABYTE’s presence in India?

Rather than establishing standalone offline stores, we plan to expand our presence in India through a unique “store-in-store” concept. This strategy involves creating dedicated sections within existing retail outlets, allowing the brand to showcase its products while leveraging the established customer base of these stores. This approach values the channel ecosystem, ensuring a wider reach with minimal resource investment. By increasing touchpoints and collaborating with channel partners, we aim to strengthen our presence and accessibility in India, setting us apart from competitors with a more efficient retail strategy.

Can you let us know what GIGABYTE offers in India, in terms of customer service during purchasing a device and after-sales service?

GIGABYTE ensures a seamless customer experience in India, both during and after purchase. Through our extensive channel partners and retail network, customers receive expert guidance to select suitable products. To achieve this, we are strengthening our infrastructure, especially after-sales services, ensuring robust support and reliability for customers. 

We have an elaborate plan to increase laptop visibility at multibrand retail stores across India, and prioritizing service readiness, we expect consistent growth, aiming to surpass the previous year’s achievements. By 2025, our goal is to establish ourselves as a prominent gaming laptop brand in India, driven by innovation and support.

What are the current challenges faced by GIGABYTE in the laptop market in terms of exposure, competition, pricing, and more? And, how do you plan on tackling these?

Our foray into the Indian laptop market has had its share of challenges, including fierce competition from established brands, pricing pressures, and supply chain concerns. We came across quite a few operational complexities, all of which were handled thanks to the efforts of our team. Additionally, the rise of powerful mobile devices with gaming capabilities and increasing consumer demand for innovative AI-driven features intensified market competition. To address these challenges, we are currently focusing on innovation, as seen in our newly launched AI gaming laptops like the G6X series. These laptops feature advanced Intel Core HX processors, NVIDIA RTX 40 series GPUs, WINDFORCE cooling technology, and Dolby Atmos for an enhanced gaming and creative experience. We plan to further expand our portfolio in 2025 once certifications and market conditions stabilize, ensuring our offerings align with consumer needs and technological advancements.

On the component side, we collaborated with partners like Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA to deliver advanced motherboards and GPUs alongside upgraded PSUs and SSDs.
