Assassin’s Creed Shadows Crosses 1 Million Players Within a Day of the Release , Urdu Wirsa

Ubisoft has officially announced Assassin’s Creed Shadows has surpassed 1 million players within a day of its release. This is an impressive milestone to achieve in a quick time, especially considering the studio has been drawing criticism from fans in recent times.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows Off to an Impressive Start
The franchise’s official X account posted, “It’s not even 4PM here in Canada, and Assassin’s Creed Shadows has already passed 1 million players! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for joining this adventure in Feudal Japan. We are beyond excited to start this journey with you!”
Assassin’s Creed Shadows further reached a peak of 41,412 concurrent players on Steam charts. As per SteamDB, over 25,000 players are playing the game at the time of writing this. These numbers are expected to increase as more players enter Feudal Japan over the coming weekend.
Ubisoft’s original plan was to release the game in the second half of 2024 but fans had to face multiple delays. This led to the March 20th release date for the newest entry in the Assassin’s Creed franchise.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows features two different protagonists named Naoe, a shinobi assassin, and Yasuke, a samurai. The first one is all about stealth and strategic gameplay, and the second is meant for absolute brute force. Both characters have their own stories but a common goal to bring peace to the Feudal Japan.
Since it is an open-world RPG, there is a lot of exploration for players to do. You can roam around in different places in Japan like shrines, ports, and castle towns. The game has a main campaign of around 40 hours, which is neither too long nor too short. However, it is confirmed to get a DLC named Claws of Awaji that will add another 10 hours worth of content.
