ASUS has launched its new ExpertBook P series of laptops in India, which are aimed towards business and professionals and feature military-grade durability, easy expandability, enterprise-grade service support, and enterprise-grade security. The series consists of the ExpertBook P5, P3, and P1, all of which are powered by Intel processors and run Windows 11 out of the box.
The AI-powered ASUS ExpertBook P series will be available on Flipkart as well as its quick commerce arm, Flipkart Minutes.
ASUS ExpertBook P series: Key features
The entire ExpertBook P Series range features IPS displays with a minimum 300 nits brightness and resolutions ranging from Full-HD to 2.5k. As mentioned above, the laptops are built for durability, with an ultra-durable 180-degree hinge tested for 50,000 cycles, a reinforced metal chassis, IO ports secured with metal bracing to withstand up to 9 kg of physical pressure, and a spill-resistant keyboard with every key tested for 1 crore keystrokes. The laptops have also been shock-tested, vibration-tested, and pressure-tested and have passed 20+ Military-Grade Standard 810H Tests.
Also included are AI-powered features like ‘ASUS AI noise cancellation’, which filters out ambient noise, and ‘AI Camera, ‘ which offers lighting optimisation, motion tracking, appearance filter, gaze correction, and background blurring. The laptops also feature ‘ASUS AI ExpertMeet’, an intelligent on-device tool that enables AI-translated subtitles and real-time transcription through ‘AI Meeting Minutes’.
The ExpertBook P series features a high-capacity (up to 63Wh) 3-cell battery that, according to ASUS, can deliver up to 20 hours of battery life. The laptops support full-range voltage USB-C charging and come bundled with a 65W fast charger with USB PD and PPS support. They also feature an advanced ‘ExpertCool’ thermal cooling system, which smartly redirects heat towards the rear of the chassis.
