Samsung has just launched its newest mid-range smartphone in India, the Galaxy M56 5G. The smartphone has 36 per cent slimmer bezels and a 33 per cent brighter display compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy M55, which was launched last year. At just 7.2mm, it is also 30 per cent slimmer. Samsung claims the M56 5G is the slimmest phone in its segment.
Key features include a 6.73-inch full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, UFS 3.1 storage for speedy load times, a 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging support, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. On the imaging front, the Galaxy M56 5G has a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor wth OIS, a 12-megapixel ultrawide, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. Up front, there is a 12-megapixel selfie camera.
The smartphone runs One UI 7 based on Android 15 out of the box, and Samsung has promised six years of major OS upgrades and security patches.

The Samsung Galaxy M56 5G is available in Black and Light Green colourways. Prices start at Rs. 27,999 for the version with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
