OnePlus is gearing up for the launch of the 2025 Nord smartphones globally, including in India. The OnePlus Nord CE 5 is expected to be the first 2025 Nord model to debut in the country. The brand has scheduled an event on April 24 to unveil details about the upcoming Nord device. A report from SmartPrix has revealed key specifications of the smartphone ahead of its official launch.
OnePlus Nord CE 5 Specifications (Leaked)
The report citing its industry sources reveals that the Nord CE 5 will sport a 6.7-inch flat OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone will sport the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor, which is built using TSMC’s 4nm process.
The chipset is a significant upgrade from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC inside the OnePlus Nord CE 4. In terms of optics, the upcoming Nord CE 5 will sport a setup similar to its predecessor, i.e., the Nord 4. The setup will include a 50MP Sony LYT 600 main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, OIS, a 1/1.95-inch sensor size, and 4K 60fps video recording.
The main camera will be paired with a secondary 8MP Sony IMX 355 ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The flat AMOLED display will feature a punch hole cutout to house the 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The Nord CE 5 will be backed by a massive 7,100mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
The device is expected to be available with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It will feature a hybrid SIM card slot and single-speaker setup. The OnePlus Nord CE 5 is expected to start in the country under Rs 25,000, similar to its predecessor.
